My main idea that I am going to do is a sunset time-lapse, for the sunset time-lapse I would have to do it when it's clear because it's winter, so its quite hard to get a clear view of the sky. Also for the time-lapse i was going to do it a the park but i would have to see which why the sun sets and will it be a clear view. If the park didn't work the next place I would do the time-lapse would be at the docks, get the view of the river as the sun sets.

Animation Assignment 2
For the second assignment I have to plan and produce my own animation, the animation has to be 20 seconds or more. I have 4 techniques of animation that I can choose from, Model, Cut-out, Time lapse and Pixilation for the assignment. For my animation I am going to be doing time-lapse, the reason I chose to do time-lapse is because I had more ideas on what to do for time-lapse and I want to try a different animation technique.
The three ideas I have for my animation are:
1. Drawing
2. Sunset
3. Food

Time Lapse
Time Lapse is a type of animation and photography technique where the camera takes pictures after a certain amount of time, when you play the time lapse at normal speed, the time appears to be moving faster which creates the lapsing. If you want an time lapse to run smoothly, you need 24 frames to create 1 second, 10 seconds will be 240 frames. If your time lapse is for 2 minutes, it would be 2 frames per minute. 24 frames per second x 10 seconds = 240 frames ÷ 120 minutes = 2 frames per minute. You can use the same math if your time lapse is longer.
Pixilation Animation
Pixilation is a stop motion technique where real people are used as a frame by frame subject in an animated film, by repeatedly posing while one or more frame is taken and changing poses slightly before the next frame or frames. The person becomes a living stop motion puppet.
Pixilation has been around since early film, it's earliest forms are back in the 1910s, but it didn't really take off though until the 1950s with Norman McLaren's most famous pixilation film Neighbors.
